No-Claim Discount (NCD)


No claim discount is an incentive given to you if no claim has been made under the policy for a year or more with your current insurer. It will reduces the premium you have to pay for the following year.

Demerits Free Driving Record

If you haven’t had any demerit points filed against you for the past three years, you could get an additional discount of 5% off the premium. Keep in mind that to be eligible, you should have an NCD of at least 30%.

What do I need to do in the event of an accident?
  1. Exchange Particulars of Parties Involved in the Accident and take note of the vehicle numbers.

  2. Take photos of the scene of the accident and the damages to all vehicles.

  3. Report the accident to your Insurer within 24 Hours or by the next working day.

  4. If there are injured parties in an accident, call for medical assistance and the police immediately.

  5. Make a Traffic Police report as soon as possible or within 24 hours of the accident if the accident involves: Fatality, injury, Damage to government property, Foreign Vehicle, Pedestrian or cyclist.
Does flood cover under my policy?

Yes, our comprehensive plan covers damages  to your vehicle as a result of natural disasters such as flood, typhoon, hurricane, cyclone, tornado, volcanic eruption, earthquake or other convulsion of nature.

Do I need to pay excess for my own damage claim?

Yes. Excess is payable for your own damage claims according to the terms and conditions of your policy.

Do I need to pay excess for my windscreen claim?

Yes. Windscreen excess is payable for according to the terms and conditions of your policy.

Will windscreen claim affect my NCD?

No, It won’t affect your NCD. 

Can I purchase No Claim Discount (NCD) protector?

Yes, this protector can be purchased at additional cost when you have a No Claim Discount of 50%. 

How does No Claim Discount (NCD) protector work?

It protects your NCD against one accident. If you have two accident within a policy year, your NCD will be reduced and NCD protector is non-transferable. 

Do I need to pay additional excess if my car is driven by unnamed driver and meets with an accident?

Yes. For an unnamed driver, an additional excess applies. This amount is stated on your Certificate of Insurance / Schedule in the policy. This is payable on top of the standard policy Excess.
